Yet one doom metal band from Russia. THE EXTINCT DREAM, I had never heard about them before, so I suppose this is pretty new band upon the scene. Well, old or new, not a main thing, but the main thing is that they did really good job on this album. To be honest here isn’t some original stuff, no, here’s really many-many-many times “used music”, made under huge influence from early doom metal scene, when such MY DYING BRIDE started to release their demos just. Similar stuff and here’s, such raw, brutal, merciless, gloomy funeral doom metal. Music is totally swarmed with obscure spirit, and just sounds like this is the day after Armageddon comesJ. Here aren’t places for smiles or funny things, just darkness and total solitude moods, so you can expect diseased soul mood just. The good thing is also that raw sound, which bring much brutality into TED music. Except of obscure tunes wait also for couple melancholic things also, like guitar solos, keys and so on… The songs are pretty long but aren’t boring, that’s good fact too. Thus we have the deal with the new good funeral doom metal band upon CIS’s metal scene.
